What do you love the most about where you live?

The weather! Never snow, wintertime is the best....cool at night & really nice during the day...we can have the house opened up all the time! I love driving around seeing palm trees wherever I go, knowing I'm only like 15 min from the beach, the casual laid-back atmosphere....

You said in the fellowship thread that you workout. What kind of exercise do you do to keep your girlish figure Debby?:)

"girlish figure" :p

I've actually just started again...I do the Walk Away the Pounds series, it's a 2 mile "walk" in 30 minuted...basically marching in place with alot of upper arms to go along with it. I need to get my hiney back into the habit of it, it helps me to feel better, keeps my BP down, and is a big stress reliever!

Do you have a book (other than your Bible) that you read over and over again? If so, which one and why?

Not a book, but an author (here's a gulity little secret...I mean pleasure!:sorry: )...Stephen King! I belong to his book club, so I have most of his books, and have read them many times over. I love scaring myself...:o

Do you read any devotionals?
If so, what?

I do! I read the Mom's Devotional Bible that I got when I joined MOPS a couple years ago. I also read The One Year Book of Praying Through the Bible by Cheri Fuller.

The Mom's Devotional is great, because each one really applies to me as a mom. And the other one I like because besides doing a daily devotional, it's got Bible verses so I'm reading through the whole Bible...which I've not done yet! :sorry:

Did you name your daughter after anyone? :)

Ummmm....I could say no, but the actual answer is "kind of"....:sorry:

We knew we wanted a name that could be shortened by either using initals or a variance of the first name. How did we pick her first name? My husband is INFATUATED with the actress Andie MacDowell  (*too bad there's not a "rolls eyes smilie")...and the more we thought about it, we really liked the name Andie...so we "lengthened" it to Andrea.

Then just came up with a middle name, so we could also call her "A.J."

What is your favorite memory of Andie?

Oh I have so many!! I love to watch her sleeping, especially after a "challenging" day....she looks like such the little angel! Reminds me that "this too shall pass"!

Now, she's playing alot with her dress-up box. She came into the den last night where my DH & I were watching tv...she had her pj's on, but was wearing a Cinderella tiara, Snow White princess shoes, carrying a magic wand, and proceeded to turn me into a princess, our dog into a princess, and her daddy was a king!! So cute....:)

Then home to get into comfy pjs and we have a marathon session (get your minds out of the gutter... ) playing this game we're addicted to on our PS2!!

Do you plan on working outside the home after Andie starts school?:)

Probably part time. I'd like to find a job that will allow me to take her to school and be there when she gets home....I'm toying with the idea of becoming a substitute teacher, or working in the school office or library or something like that.

That sounds great Debby:) Yeah, when my kids started school it was really important to my husband and I that I would be home for the kids after school so I found jobs that worked with that. So does that mean that you are going to go back to school too or do you already have the education necessary?
