I saw an article recently where a guy did, in fact, walk down the street with a sign just like you describe. I don't know how well it worked out for him, whether it got him any dates or not.

Advertising here for a date presents problems. First, I'm not sure it sits well with the site TOS. Secondly, there's the distance issue. This site is accessible world-wide. Supposing, just as an example, I set my cap for PC4. Big problem, I'm in Carol Stream, Illinois (a Western suburb of Chicago) and she's in Australia. Financing a trip to meet is out of the question for me, and I suspect dollars aren't all that common around her either. So, how do you propose we would meet? So, I fancy that for both of us we would do better to look in local sources rather than trying to use this international site to try to date. Just a stray thought or two.

That's got me wondering how a cyber marriage would work. Husband and wife six thousand miles away from each other, no chance of ever meeting--- well, it wouldn't be hard to be near perfect for each other since there's no chance the other person would ever find out what you're really like, but--- oh, man, what would the children look like?

A cyber marriage would include a set time each day to get on the web. I think there would be video set up so they could see each other. This should make for good communication because when people are on the computer their mind is usually quite focused. At home the TV might be on or one could be working on some task. So conversations can get missed or be pretty superficial. That part of a cyber marriage might actually work better.

You will meet her.. just wait and see.. just let go of all the bad stuff.. don't sweat it.. enjoy your life.. live free.. there is something in being thankful joyful and letting what happens happen..

Try wearing bright colors or just bright socks or some bright jocks lol then nobody else sees them but everywhere you go you know you have them on.. and you might just giggle and it will change your day.. that way you will stand out in the crowd because your happy.. and surely she will notice you then... do something a bit wild.. spontaneous.. find the joy and share just ONE thing about yourself here.. You can do it.. I dare you...

Did you mean she doesn't want you to post about yourself, or she doesn't want you to post about her? The latter I can relate to, but not if she's saying don't post about yourself. Just remember you would never want her to read anything that you wouldn't say to her face and you'll be fine.

No I can post about myself. But quite a bit of what I'd be interested in posting would include her part of the story. So I mentioned we went of vacation but I didn't tell any good stories that included her.
