Yes, we had a lot of snow in December. None (almost) in january. And now some in February. Its 10 degrees right now!

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well I've been around CF for a little while now, but never posted in this thread although I am familiar with several of you from other areas of the forum. I'm from central Ohio and have lived here almost my whole life, hubby is a transplant.
I'm sitting here watching the OSU game in the tourney and they were making me nervous for most of this game....seem to be doing a little better now.

I went to Lakewood schools (Jacksontown Elementary before it became a private school and Lakewood Middle School) until we moved in the middle of my 6th grade year. My sister graduated from Lakewood and my mom also went to Lakewood. We still go to Heath/Newark from time to time...normally when we are going to the video trader store behind Stacy's (old Duff's) and occasionally we go that direction for dinner (we love the La Paloma and Miller's Essenplatz).
