CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi, ChowdersMom. hope to c u here again. Fairborn is familiar ground to me. Started WSU in 1972, then moved into an apartment in Fbn in '76; lived there until '95. That's when hubb, sons and I moved into our house in Xenia.

It can go from Florida weather to Minnesota weather in the same day - lolI have a friend that went to school there. She liked the area, but I've never been there myself.

How cool to find somebody here who not only knows Fairborn, but also went to WSU. I got my degree there, working all the time in the library. Then, when I graduated, I got a full-time job in the library and stayed there until retirement in 2003. I may have seen you around without knowing who you were.
