Yes. I have a son who is going into 4th grade and a daughter going into 1st grade at Twin Oak. It is a very nice school. Are you still in school?

I drive through Bangs when we take route 3 to Columbus. I guess it is a small world after all.

Yes im still in school i attend Mount Vernon High School going into the 12th grade. Yep you pretty much have to go through bangs to get to Columbus from Mount Vernon. Yea id say it is a small world haha! Awesome!

I am still here... living in Worthington.... not far from Ohio State Fair..... I have not gone to state fair in almost 10 years or so.... Either the weather is too hot... too wet... or nothing exciting on the days I am free.

I haven't been for about 6 years....I went to the Gallia County fair this week...Next week I will go to the Mason Co. Fair in WV...
I think the Ohio State fair is a great fair.....

I was born in Zanesville, so was my daughter...I went to Meredith Business college there and lived on Pine St....My dad worked at Burnham boiler for years....I worked at Dura Corporation in S. Zanesville...

Since you are talking about Zanesville in the past tense, I take it you no longer live here? What part of the country do you live in, if you don’t mind me asking, because we too have a ministry of music and travel around the country giving concerts. I would enjoy stopping for a listen to your group sometime if we’re ever in the same towns.

Have you been to Zanesville lately? That whole area of South Zanesville where Dura was is soooooo different now, you wouldn’t know it.

I grew up both here and in Columbus until I was 16 and have lived here ever since. We actually live west of town near White Cottage and the old cement plant. Which by the way is also gone now.

Ooooh! I truly love the Ohio State Fair. many happy memories there. Haven't been in since the boys were little, but I do so want to go again. I grew up near Grandview; now I live in Dayton area. Finances and hubby's health keep us close to home.

I was born in Columbus, but raised out behind the White Cottage area off and on until I started school in Columbus. We lived on the East side of Columbus just off of Broad and James. I went to Fairmoor Elementary and Eastmoor Jr and Sr High until returning to Zanesville in the 10th grade. I went to Zanesville High and got kicked out, then went to Maysville where I met my wife of now 25 years. She graduated in 1979

That is funny! I was born on the east side and lived in Whitehall until I was 4 and then moved to an area actually south of South Zanesville. I went to Newton Elementary in White Cottage and my step-father's family is all originally from the East Fultonham area.

You don't usually meet many people who have EVER heard of White Cottage!!!

I took my two kids to the State Fair on opening day. Spent a very long and hot 9 hours there but they had a blast. They rode some rides and we saw the butter cow and went to the natural resources park to see Smoky the Bear and the other animals. Those are some of the things that we always do at the fair.

Although, being from "the sticks," my favorite part of the fair will always be the farm animals. We did get to watch some of the market lamb judging. Unfortunately my "city kids" husband and children just don't get the same thing out of that as I do!

We belong to the East Fultonham United Methodist Church. I wouldn’t want you to give out any info that you didn’t want to, but can you give me a hint as to who the in-laws are, I might know them.

My family roots go back to my grandfather in this area. They were from on Bagley Road. That’s were I spent all my time as a little guy, and that’s where I returned when I moved back.

By the way, there is a story in my journal titled “Grandpa’s Church” that is about his little country church out Bagley Rd behind White Cottage. In case you get bored or are looking for something to read. It was called Dilt’s Church Of Christ.
