CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes, It finally snowed here and stick to the ground. The roads were a mess though when going to church...

*sigh* yeah, it's fun when it first starts coming, but once you have to cancel events because of it, snow starts to get annoying.

Well, yeah... snow's cool. We went to get our ski passes yesterday. That's always exciting. I just wish that it would stop at least for tonight... I wanted to go somewhere, but if it keeps it up, that probably won't happen.

We've got about 8 inches of snow so far and it's supposed to keep coming all night until Friday at 3 pm. Some areas are expected to get up to 20 inches before it's over. I'm stuck in the house, which is fine. From what I see on the news, some people are stuck on the highways for hours.

We have a lot of snow in hancock/wyandot counies right now. I was home and bored for most of the day, so around 5, before it got too dark, I went out to shovel the driveway for my parents when they got home from work. Well, 2 hours later, you couldnt' even tell that I had shoveled the driveway, but I'm sure that it helped somewhat (that's what I'm telling myself so I didn't wast an hour of my day -lol) We're supposed to have 18 inches by morning . . . it'll be fun

My kids loved it. They started to build an igloo, so now we have a 6 foot pile of snow but it was too fluffy to pack down. I'm just glad I don't need to go out!

The north-west side of Summit County got hit pretty good too! The snow stopped last night, just in time for the freezing rain to start. I came in to work around 6 this morning and the slush was terrible.
However, the snow last night was absolutely beautiful to see comming down.

we've got a pile of snow by our barn that is like 5 feet high. it's insane. and there are huge drifts all over our yard. we had to take people home from our house today and we couldn't get down our drive (it's a long drive way), our neighbor had to come and pull us down our drive with his tractor. it's really bad, but the snow is awesome for making forts and having snowball fights.
