  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Heh, I'm in Springfield now. It's tolerable, being halfway between Dayton & Columbus...but not sure how long the wife & I will be able to take it.

We actually lived way out close to South Charleston around the corner from the county fairgrounds, Shawnee High School area. It was when we first got married and lived with my husband's family for a few months.

We were close to the highway and actually found evidence of someone living on the property, uninvited let's say. My husband had left up a tent to dry it out after camping and forgot about it. We found ample evidence someone had been making use of it and the farther outbuildings as living space.

It was odd because I was home alone alot in the evenings and I'd get this weird feeling I was being watched or just not alone. My husband noticed it a few times too. The neighbors are a ways off and couldn't see into the house from their yards so it couldn't have been that. We just thought the house was really creepy, then we find all this stuff: makeshift 'bathroom area' - oh joy, discarded clothes, food wrappers, cans, etc...weird.

That's a crazy story....can't imagine there would be many people wandering out in a semi-rural area like that.
