OH fresh meat.

I mean, nice to have you starting a FTB thread.

I see snow in your doll character's background...
Do you still have snow on the ground?

How old are your children?

Do you have any pets?

Not really. We only got about 3 inches all winter! But it did flurry yesterday.

I have two sons, ages 18 and 16. My guys!

Ugh, I have two dogs. Male and female litter mates that are 9 1/2 years old. American Eskimo dogs (LOTS of long white hair!)

Nice outfit, btw!

What's your favorite book?

What's your favorite hobby?

I have to pick only one of each??? Then I guess I'd say the Bible is my favorite book and decorating and remodeling my home is my favorite hobby.

Ok, I got through so far!

See that was not too tough after all.

And thanks for liking my Easter outfit.

If you could visit with anyone from Bible times except the Trinity
who would it be and what would you talk about?

I think in this season of my life it would be Ruth. I'd talk with her about starting over, trusting God and being a good wife.

Yes, I have. I went on a trip to Italy in high school. It was 10 non-stop days and I just loved it!

I've been married twice and my first honeymoon was to Jamaica. We pretty much stayed on the resort.

My honeymoon two years ago (exactly!) was to the Riviera Maya. We mostly stayed on the resort there as well with two sides trips to archeologic sites. That was a really nice trip!

For overseas travel I'd love to get back to Europe. I'm most interested in seeing Italy again as well as Germany and Ireland. I'd go everywhere (that does not have extreme climate) if I could as I'd love to look at various architectures and experience various cultures!

When you cook, what is your specialty?
Oh boy, this is tough! Well, I'll say that the two most requested dishes are chicken quesadillas and grilled chicken caesar salad. I recently made chicken oscar and that was very good and I have a recipe for chicken with feta cheese, kalamata olives, sundried tomatoes, parsley and olive oil on top that we just love!

Was that a coherent answer??

Expressions that certain others like to use toward me are

HEALTHY FOOD FOR BODY AND SOUL
Sun-Dried Tomato and Kalamata Olive Chicken
RICH-TASTING SUN-DRIED TOMATOES, GREEK OLIVES AND FETA COME together to make this simple, yet sensational, Mediterranean-inspired fare.

10 sun-dried tomato halves, chopped
1/4 cup boiling water
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 4 ounces each)
1 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled
12kalamata olives, finely chopped
1/4 cup finely snipped fresh parsley
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 ounce fat-free or low-fat feta cheese, crumbled
1/8 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons olive oil

Combine tomatoes and water. Let stand for 10 minutes. Drain. Return tomatoes to bowl. Trim fat from chicken and flatten to 1/4-inch thickness. Sprinkle 12 teaspoon oregano over chicken. Stir olives, parsley, remaining oregano and red pepper into tomatoes. Fold in feta. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 3 minutes on each side (until no longer pink in center). Remove from heat. Sprinkle salt over chicken. Top each serving with 14 cup tomato mixture and drizzle with 1/2 teaspoon oil.

I just spent the bulk of the afternoon in the garden, as a matter of fact! I now have list of plants I 'need' to go get! LOL

I largely have a perennial garden. I will sometimes edge with annuals (impatiens and alyssum) if I feel energetic enough. I do have pots of annuals around the yard and porch and such.

As for veggies, we primarily grow roma tomatoes and basil (for making lots of bruschetta!) I've also grown peppers, cucumbers and celery....again if the mood strikes!

What about you, faithmom?
