World hates me. World can't forgive me the things I've done in this life. World looks at me with disgust all the time, I can feel their evil and they can feel me feeling their evil, they don't like it, because darkness hates light and hates being exposed and just by looking at people I sometimes expose them because I live in truth and can see truth.

Today's topic was the world, for me, and the meanings thereof. And Jesus said the world would hate His followers. I don't hate them, but I loathe their presence around me. I have a gift of discernment and am able to see things rather clearly in people, and it brings a lot of suffering because of it. So many people, so much hatred/love for their sins, etc...

Don't worry, you are not alone in this. I get the same treatment.

There was this one customer I had, I think 2 years ago now, where she took one look at me as I was coming toward the counter and serve her. Her eyes and brow furrowed and it seemed as though her face changed before my eyes. Something dark was in her and as were the words from her mouth. I ended up not serving her.

That's like me and "gangster" people. I see their fakness/hatred and automatically they see that I see it, get defensive, aggressive and violent.

Multiple times I'll just be minding my own business but notice them casually and than have them come up and start a confrontation with me. "what are you looking at?!" (when I wasn't even staring or anything), or things like that.

I think it's also because I don't fear them in the slightest, and I mean that I'm not afraid of them at all, that causes them to be like that - because they're used to people being intimidated by them and purposely avoid gazing at them and stuff, whereas I trust in the Most High.

Perhaps yours is similar.

Try working like this for hours every day. It's even worse when the stimulation gets really bad and your manager makes you work in the front counting bottles while keeping tabs on the other bottles and cans going through the machines. Half the time I'm not sure if I remembered to include the bottles and cans into the customer's receipt.

I showed my manager this video and what does he do? He keeps making me work in the front, of course! Last two days I had to leave early because the over stimulation was causing me to black out more than usual and I screw things up. Tomorrow was suppose to be my day off but my manager once again asks me to come in to fill in for someone on the busiest day of the week.

It might vary just because I'm female XD I don't get that kind of violent confrontation, but rather a verbal confrontation. Sometimes... their face will even change and it can be quite scary. I've only experienced that a select few times, thankfully. :fearful:

I won't lie though, my guard kicks into high gear if I am violently confronted. I become highly aware of my surroundings.

The trick here is not how the world treats us but how we react to them that treat us bad.

Read Romans 12 and really try to act in a Romans 12 manor. Pick one of the ways to react in Romans 12 and try to do it that way every time and practice until it becomes your nature.

Romans 12 NKJV

Behave Like a Christian
9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. 10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; 11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; 12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; 13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.

14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. 16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.

17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,”a]'>[a] says the Lord. 20 Therefore

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
If he is thirsty, give him a drink;
For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”b]'>[b]

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

First learn to be "patient in tribulation". When times are trying you try your best to be patient and do not act until you have fully thought it out and you have decided that the proper way to react is to be humble and blow it off and do not produce evil towards them that hurt us.

Then learn how to "Repay no one evil for evil". If a coworker messes with you then learn to first be patient and then figure out a way to be nice to them and not let their evil action cause you to produce evil but payback evil with good and really mean it, do not pay them back good for their evil to make them mad but do it so they will become happy.

Its hard to do at first but over time you will get better at it and God will even put test in your way to see how you react so learn it and do it.

@Toro Black polka dots with pink trim, nice touch. That picture, o man, too funny, lol.

@Wayholka I have no problem with pants to the ankles but it sure is hard to explain when others walk in.

most humans have to have some kind of enemy. usually I like to fight my own kind and it is out of love though I tend to start displaying symptoms of rabies after a while.

This rant is going to sound a little silly but it is bothering me quite a bit, and I really need to get this off my chest.

At my church we have what's called "connection classes". They are basically youth groups but take place during the first service, and prior to beginning we are able to sit and chat with others, thus "connecting" while our youth minister's wife brings the breakfast she made for us. It is rather nice, and I've made a couple of friends in the two years I've been there. However, the church is changing things; not just the youth groups but the sermons as well, and my youth group, the college students, are going to be merging with the singles, which consist of at least 30-40 people. Now, I have a form of anxiety and have struggled recently with it at the college student youth group, it didn't really start until the college students came back home for the summer. Regardless, I am finding it very difficult to believe I will be able to handle a class full of 40, 50, 60 people. I've consulted two people about it; a friend who is involved with the church, and another woman, who her and her husband are the ones to be considered in charge of the youth group. One told me not to borrow troubles, and the other simply encouraged me.

I feel like they don't understand the depth of my anxiety, and they are merely passing it as shyness. Yes, I am shy but I sincerely struggle with anxiety with large crowds, and I feel there is no way I can handle it. And it sucks because I love going, and I go there to learn more about God and to hear the Word. I just really feel like no one actually understands and can't understand. It's fine and dandy if you are outgoing but there are people who aren't. Our pastor has already recognized that this will be an inconvenience for some, because of how they are changing eveeerything up. It's just, urgh, frustrating.

I know. Keep putting yourself out there and I will eventually get used to it, but I can get really sick from my anxiety to where even attempting to go out of my zone that far is not even worth it. A lot don't understand, and I don't expect you to either; I just really needed somewhere to rant.

Thanks :3
