Sometimes I wonder how many great & unknown youtube clips we're missing by having the entire site saturated by popular music videos and trending garbage. This would easily be remedied if they modified their search functions and included options to search for lesser things.

one time long ago I permanently got rid of my 56k internet access by removing some spyware which was linked to the internet provider so maybe no one should listen to me.

thanks! But yeah, I think ill need to like jailbreak it...so far I disabled it, waiting to see if it'll still rise from the death, it's like a zombie app of some sort, in the past, it would update itself automatically and the app would appear again with bunch of random advertisements that pop up, my most hated one which is the musicaly advertisement...lol

Maybe because I’m a Christian, I don’t like to make accusations toward people. I am often a literal embodiment of “if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything.” I could make accusations toward people in my life, but I won’t.

Reminds me of a scene from Schindler's List where some Jews are being shipped to Auschwitz on a train and they look out of the train and see a little boy with a smile crossing his finger with his neck giving the signal that they're gonna be killed.

I think that in general the world is better off (concerning the necessity of being a creature pov) because there is a lot more wealth and technology and so humans don't feel as much of a need to destroy each other for lack of resources. I take steven pinker with a grain of salt because all the graphs should be looked at in more detail but it appears to be hopeful in at least some ways.

when the poor have more wealth things tend to improve. when 1st world countries stabilize the forest in their area tend to grow back. world hunger is basically becoming eradicated.

with all that said I still don't like the world. I don't like all the humans trying to force their wills upon me. I don't like how nature is so harsh and i'm always bounded by some kind of necessity to do something just to keep existing. nature is beautiful and yet it has the same curse we all suffer from. it struggles to be at the expense of other parts of itself.

I think all the hardships in the world were for the sake of making things work via higher realities of the spirit but i don't feel very connected to anyone compared to how I think things should be. I don't feel like fighting against the tide of separated souls that are in general against me since I believe that freedom is very important because it is the foundation for there to be real goodness in the world and for people to have a spiritual life. freedom is dangerous because freedom means a world like this can be or even worse worlds can be.

i'm not a fan of forcing people to be good. I don't think that counts as "a better world", it just counts as a bunch of crazy apes who forced things on each other enough to make their lives easier. it need not be, but for some reason it is. maybe one day humans will learn or maybe this world is a throw away world where we start off from scratch in the lowest possible kind of reality and things will be fixed in the progression of life after we perish.

how you go about doing something is very important. I think how you do things is less important for people who think they have one life and then that's that. why focus so much in higher ideals if you can get what you want and need by other less savory methods?

dunno what time period this was but... anyone that had to crawl a mile on their knees in order to start their job at the coal mine is allowed to call most of us modern folk snowflakes, it's the least they deserve since they got the black lung.

hmm yeah I guess there is no point in the hours we work lowering from 60 to 40 if say now both the husband and wife must work = 80 hours. but as for maintaining an illusion of perfection, that is a burden people choose to take upon themselves. it's not required. that's peoples egos making their lives harder than they have to be.

Woah woah woah... You're telling me that the amount of pressure and anxiety during the golden age of America was that low??

I wonder if it also has to do with culture? Back in Asia, people are more "group" oriented. Over here in the west, I've noticed people are more individualistic. There's anxiety but people are able to cope because they help each other (back in Asia). Meanwhile, here in America, it seems like everyone is too busy to care. It's hard to keep convo with people without them literally looking at their phones every 5 mins.

Idk how accurate data is on this article but it was saying that... In Asian culture, people are invested, like if they find out you are jobless, they will assist you in finding a job or they will recommend you to the boss. And it is acceptable for parents and aunts and uncles to help you out if you need advice or assistance. And there's a lot of get togethers where everyone just talks about life and make connections...

here it's so hard to get a hold of people, everyone seems so "busy" to even just sit down awhile to talk. I mean to even just hang out with my friends, we all have to agree on a day, so we meet only once a month. But in asia, man, people meet each other for way longer periods of times and socialize, and life there feels not as stressful here, but ofcourse there are challenges that they face too. But yeah, imo, i think there's much anxiety because people don't feel supported.

Aslong as trolls and bullies are allowed to roam Singles and harass members purposely and openly without being dealt with, Singles will never feel like a safe space for believers.
