Sorry to post off topic but i couldn't think where to put this and i spend my time here on only the Crevo and this forum.
Before I make a request i guess i should say a few things about myself. Please resist the urge to tell me how wrong I am in my beliefs i'll do my best to answer any questions non adversarily - you can argue or cajole me in another thread. ;-)
I am agnostic with atheistic leanings but chose the humanist tag because if you're not sure that there is a god you better do your best to make sure your time on this planet is as pleasent as possible for you and the rest of humanity because there's no second act. I have held my beliefs ( with a few minor modifications ) since i was about 10 [that may mean something to a psycologist ] I have discussed philosopy and theology many times with many people face to face most prolificaly my uncle a ley member of the general synod (may mean something to brits and anglicans) and a guy with i think 2 PHD's they sometimes get heated but i respect his position.
I am prochoice - people have been over it recently and I share simular beliefs as chickadee and Seeking.
I believe the evidence of evolution but then again i've had a good grounding in the principles and knowledge aquired by science. And i don't want to "exclude or beat on god" I just wield occams razor.
I believe that "Anything two (mentally capable) consenting Adults want to do behind closed doors that doesn't effect another" should be permissable. So i don't have a problem with S&M even though i wouldn't want it myself.
I spent a lot of time just watching the boards because often by the time i got to a thread someone had already put down simular ideas to my own. Or the thread had decended to the strawman phase or even along to the godwins law singulariy from which no logical argument can escape.
As i have written quite a lot for what started as a simple request i will just appologise to anyone who i may have offended in the past. I have posted mostly from work and it realy doesn't give me chance to properly frame my replies and have sometimes misread there post (and opinion) in haste. This will not happen again.
Anyway on to my minor request - i just want enough blessings so I can upload my custom avatar (non denominational,non offensive).
As a parting gift i would suggest those amongst you who like turn based stategy games (the other 99% can look away now) and those who are not offended by "magic" in videogames should take a look at www.wesnoth.org as it is excelent and is tenuously linked to my request as it was a developer of the game who made my avatar.
