Odd Prayer Request - RE: Labor....

Hi all...
Well, today is my due date. I am due to have baby#3 today. I have had contractions on and off for 2 days...but not in active labor. My body is so tired.
I know baby will come when he/she is ready - but would appreciate some prayers from fellow parents that labor would become active soon - and that I would be holding my new baby very shortly - if not today.
Also, there are no beds available at my hospital - can you pray that a room will open up so I have a place close to home to labor and delver....otherwise I will be hospotal shopping.

Wish me luck - it would be cool to have a baby on 04/04/04.

awwww congrates on the baby and I was always told to have sex to get labor started it didn't work with me but your not me lol and I'll keep you in my prayers, my bestfriends baby shower is today and I'm sick and can't make it she is due any time now and she has been haveing contractions off and on like you discribe. Just thought that was cool..

Do a google search for natural labor induction...just be really careful, and you might want to check with your doc to make sure it's okay. There are pressure points that can bring on contractions. And some other things that are completely drug free (nipple stimulation, intercourse, etc.) You might look some of that stuff up if you get bored.

My best friend is ready to go too...She has been contracting on and off and is still only about 2 centimeters and 50% effaced....

God knows what He is doing. He will give the signal when everything is perfect, including a bed.

I am praying for you and a safe and healthy delivery.
