Ocd intrusive thoughts.... BQ inside.

Im struggling with these again.

I'm having a hard time shaking them.

Its almost to the point I feel a bit afraid to even move. I have to work and I can't...not right now.

I hate how anxiety steals my life and makes me unable to function.

Sometimes I feel I may need to stay somewhere.

Bq- How is it like being admitted to the ER? Will they give you medication? Will they sedate you?

I am sorry you are struggling with intrusive thoughts, you could do a lot to help yourself if you had readc25 tips for successfully treating OCD.
Point 4 Always agree with intrusive thoughts, they are not real so just say yes that's is right and move on.
Point 5 Don't waste time or effort trying to prevent these thoughts, they are not real.

Only you can use these tips, if you are overwhelmed by intrusive thoughts you will need to talk to your doctor for medication to calm you down.

yeah i need to. i need to see who my pcp is again-- i need to do this will i have medicaid. thing is i work fulltime. hope they work satrday ad sundays, therapists that is.

OCD is SO hard to deal with! What are your current obsessions or intrusive thoughts, if you don't mind sharing?

Hey I understand as I lay here getting ready to go to work battling thoughts but I keep telling myself those who trust in the Lord will never be out to shame. God always gets us through the day and He will get you through as well. It's just a brief season a small hill to climb but we will soon rest at the top. Just be still and trust in Him to get you through your thoughts. It's just equipping us to stand more faith and not our thoughts or feelings keep hanging in

I was coming back from running and I was thinking and was saying the Holy Spirit is alive but I accidentally whispered and froze on Ali like the opposite. I said to God and Jesus I meant to say the Holy Spirit is alive and good. Did I commit a sin?

So, you just answered your own question. You may have already realized this, but fear of blaspheming is a VERY common obsession among Christians with OCD. Are you getting help/therapy for your OCD?

You don't HAVE to have a therapist - you can learn to self-treat - but having a therapist can be helpful. I'd recommend, at the very least, learning all you can about how to treat OCD, and applying it as much as you can. I can point you in the direction of some helpful websites, if you'd like.

Now I have another big worry! I was sitting at my computer with my mother working on this 2d animation project and I was saying I don’t regret praying to you Jesus. And in my head I accidentally almost said I don’t regret praying to you S**** then stopped myself. Then I was talking in my head I was talking to Jesus trying to explain that I don’t regret praying to you Jesus. Then I said to Jesus, it is not like I’m calling you S****. Then I tried saying that it is not like I’m saying you’re S then I jumped and said and said to him in my head but your not S****. I did not mean to call Jesus the devil in my head while speaking to him. I prayed to God and Jesus to forgive me and say to them one at a time I would never call your/you the S name. I pleaded to them to forgive please forgive me deep down in heart. Did I commit a sin!

LOL I'm sorry to scare you. It's actually my way of trying to counteract the OCD. OCD wants us to always keep asking for reassurance, but the problem is, every time I give you reassurance, your OCD will come up with another reason to doubt. That's just the way it works. I'm trying to get you to see that your common sense actually does "know" the answers, but your OCD is causing you to doubt over that. Which is what it does. How much do you know about treating OCD?

I need help please! I was watching a video about repeating sins and I was looking at the comments and saw someone wrote and I was reading in my head. “In Jesus’s name I..” I don’t want to type down The negative thing this person said about spirit. But my mind and thoughts were slipping acting on its ow. I paced the floor in my room repeating I accept Holy Spirit. The r word jumped in my head and I fought the r word. Moments later my OCD made me say I accept the Holy Spirit. Then this time inappropriate pictures slipped in my thinking process. The whole month of July has been a train wreck! I found out about willful sin. I had morning panic attacks. I don’t know what I am suppose to do or what to say! I have a porn and m addiction since middle school. I don’t know where to turn with all this worries and questions in my head fearing I have said something I don’t mean to say. And you know the worst feeling I have right now. I stopped watching porn and m for three weeks and relapsed back yesterday and today. Three weeks ago I felt like God was giving me a sign like Christmas Carol, telling me I should repent and confess that night I found out about willful sin. Now I feel like I blew my chance. I feel so broken!

Fear of saying something inappropriate is actually a VERY common obsession. Can you practice treating it as OCD?

Also, regarding actual sin, I don't think many people usually are perfect at giving up sin, even after repenting. Slipping up doesn't mean you "blew your chance." It means you are a human and you made a mistake. Get back up and start again! Every day is a new chance to start over, right?
