You are not responding to the points I make.So according to you it means Jesus' work of redemption did not do away with all the curses & death?
I have just plainly shown you the christian needs knowledge, and according to john and James the christian has knowledge of their sin.
Were you brought up with very strict religion/legalism? I was. When that happens many often go to the other extreme as you appear to be doing
It was this kge or knowledge of sin that separated man from God in eden.
Nakedness could not separate man from God as long as they did not choose kge.
By his death, Jesus set us free from kge & reconciled us to God. Hope you accept this act of love of Jesus.
You appear to refuse to accept that James and john plainly state the christian has knowledge of their sin. You seem to just ignore the scriptures you do not wish to accept
Do we then nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather we uphold the law rom3:31
Why uphold what does not exist?
All mankind have faith.. But in what or whom ? Having faith ,even gifted , is usless if not acted upon .obedience to God is done because we have faith that what he has said.. Is true.therefore those who do not obey..show they do not believe his word is true. And will perish in thier unbelief.Faith is of Jesus or produced by Jesus (acts3:16). It is a free gift from Jesus' love who loved us more than His life.
Keep up your sharing Bro. You are blessed.
Kge which is knowledge of sin comes from law. Jesus destroyed the law by his death & set us free from it (rom7:6). Hence no kge. Scripture tells this plainly.
All apostles need not necessarily have the same degree of revelation.
Regarding awareness of sin, do not go by your feelings but believe Hebrews 10:3.[/According to your second paragraph, are you suggesting your revelation is greater than that of James and John?Kge which is knowledge of sin comes from law. I know some on the internet do claim such things.
To go around claiming Jesus destroyed the law is harmful to your spiritual health I am afraid. Jesus destroyed the ability for the law to condemn the born again christian. Hw did not destroy thou shalt not kill, steal, bear false witness, covet etc.
The majority who go to church relentlessly state you must obey the law, with the inference that is your justification for heaven . People at the other end of the spectrum say Jesus destroyed the laws, you have no knowledge of sin. The true road is indeed narrow.
All apostles need not necessarily have the same degree of revelation
Do you believe you are an apostle with greater revelation than James and John? Some, especially on the internet do believe they have greater understanding than the Apostles who wrote the NT.
The law itself is perfect, holy, righteous and good. The problem is a law of righteousness, not the law itself.
A law of righteousness depends on the penalty of sin being I place for transgression of the law. If the penalty of sin is removed, so is a law of righteousness.
God transferred the law he desires believers to obey from an external law written on tablets of stone to an internal law written on tablets of human hearts. Therefore, the true believer in their heart wants to live as God desires them to. Because, and only because this is the case, the penalty of sin was paid by Christ for the true believer. And it is the penalty of sin which is the true power of sin. No penalty, no law of righteousness
Romans chapter 7 is speaking of a law of righteousness.
Christ died to pay the penalty of your sin and to break the power of sin, and the true power of sin is a law of righteousness, hence romans 7

Yes, Paul had truth/ knowledge:The whole truth is given thru paul though he was not able to repeat the whole truth at all times due to limitations he faced due to Judaism & gnosticism both of which were terribly ignorant of grace.
You don't fully understand the message.Sin is revived by the law that supplies the kge.
The power of sin is broken or dead only when law/kge is eliminated (roman7:8).
Trying to break the power of sin by leaving kge as it is, is the same as addressing the symptoms & leaving out the issue of infection.
If you properly understood Paul's message you would not write what you do.Law does not hold penalty alone. It also contains or supplies kge (roma3:20).
Lord who told adam to avoid kge, will he write law into hearts which contains kge which brought death to mankind?
