  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Obedience to the word of God is NOT optional -if we persist in disobedience we are not saved

It is God's word which says that kge has to be avoided though you seem to have ripped that off.

Nice try. But I wont help you to run away from answering the most grave view of yours.

You believe Christ came to destroy what God says I holy, righteous and good

This is the covenant I will make with them after that time says the Lord
I will write my laws on their mind
And place them on their hearts
Then he adds
Their sins and lawless deeds I will remember no more
Hwb10:16

The cornerstone of the new covenant. The law God desires you to keep is transferred from an external law written on tablets of stone to an internal law written on tablets of human hearts.
The penalty of sin is removed, Christ is your righteousness, not observing the law.
There sins and lawless deeds I will remember no more.

It is a serious thing to preach incorrect doctrine. Be careful!

Ohhh is it? Rom 6:14 says we are not under law but under grace. It is the principle of grace of Christ written in our hearts.

I do not trust in my ability to not run though you seem to be trusting in your ability.

Moreover you seem to imply that God was wrong to have kept kge away from adam.

The scriptures are explicit.
God will place his laws on our hearts.

So that's Jeremiah and Hebrews you refuse to accept alongside much of the other letters of the apostles.
Rom6:14 refers to not being under a law of righteousness

If you do not trust in your own ability, why do you not have the ability to simply state you believe Christ came to destroy what God says is holy, righteous and good?

That is after all what you believe. But as it I obviously an absurd belief you cannot actually admit it can you

Your silence I defeaning

The internet sure is a sad place at times.

Christians claiming Christ died to destroy a person should not kill, steal, commit adultery, covet etc

You believe in osas while eph talks of losing salvation.

Rom 6:14 talks of law not law of righteousness.

That shows how little you understand of Paul's message:

Christ is the end of the law UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS for everyone who bwlieveth rom10:4

Paul didn't preach Jesus came to destroy what God says is holy, righteous and good. That's your invention

By believing in osas have you ripped some passages in Ephesians? I see silence from you.

Not destroy, but to fulfill (the law).

Read the parable of the sower

Already your beliefs in "future sins also forgiven on cross" and "osas" are not accepted by many in this thread.

Then why you struggle to show yourself very biblical minded before them in order to please them?

If future sins are forgiven & no penalty, why to confess sins?

Firstly I have made no comment on osas apart from saying I never discuss it.

Secondly, when you were a child, did you not confess wrongdoing to your parents? Have you never asked their forgiveness when you broke their rules? Did you ask their forgiveness in order not to be thrown out of the family? Or did you ask their forgiveness because you loved them and wanted peace in your grieved heart?
