How so? The mess would have been way worse without the bailouts. Whereas most people lost a third of their stock portfolios in the 2008 crash, without govt support, people more than likely would have lost ALL their money in stocks. Obama's problem was that he basically wrote them a blank check without oversight into how that money is spent, which isn't the reason why the economy is crappy.

The economy is crappy due to war, plain and simple. We could not and cannot afford these taxing wars, and Obama is doing his best to bring home the troops.

Where did you get "unstableness" and "wealth disparity" argument from? It's unstable because politicians like play the class warfare and demonized the opposition. There was a poll done on these protesters where they said they are willing to use violence to get what they want.

Yet, the police have been committing the vast and overwhelming majority of violence. Protesters said they "are willing" to use violence; the police display their willingness to use violence because THEY ARE USING VIOLENCE.

Of course there's envy. That's what socialism is all about. I came from a socialist country and if you're richer than your neighbor, watch out. You better not let them know or else you risk losing it by way of corrupt politicians/cops/etc. They are basically informants.

Not everyone gets to make their own pie. Infact, the overwhelming majority, don't even have the chance. You have to spend money to make money, correct? So how are you supposed to make money if you have no capital to invest? Work? Yes, work, which barely pays the bills. And when the bills are paid, you can decide to either save money, or eat.

btw, the "wait a minute, we helped make more than the 30% you're trickling down to us" comment is a brainwashing bill-of-goods. The "We" did not help anything or anyone! No one pressured them to buy anything from anyone.

Advertising works to pressure people into buying things. Society itself pressures people to buy things. Many places won't even hire you unless you have a phone. How is it not pressure when your boss says "You need to buy a phone so I can get ahold of you whenever I need to"?

The rich don't make any of those gadgets. The rich hire innovators to develop something (or buy patents), and hire workers to make it. The rich buy equipment made by other workers so their own workers have tools, buy buildings that were built by other people. Then the rich sell the products that the workers made, give a little bit of the profit to their workers, and keep the rest, and so become richer.

What do the rich provide for the economy that a poor person could not? If you chopped the heads off the richest 400 guys in the US, and gave their money (~1.27 trillion dollars, more the 150 million poorest americans) to clever and educated poor people, I doubt there would be any decline in the economy, and possibly an increase. Well, maybe a decline in funny finance schemes, but those don't really relate to production.
