After reading another thread on here I thought it might be nice to have a support group for nursing students (of all kinds)!!!

Current Certs: None as of yet (unless lifegaurd counts )
Nursing School Info: Waiting for school to start! I am working on my LPN as well as my CNA. At my school the LPN includes the pre-reqs for ADN/RN classes.
What inspired you: Two things really, working with Cystic Fibrosis kids at a summer camp a few years back, and then more recently my dad had a severe heart attack and needed an LVAD and is now on a transplant list. Seeing how awesome his nurses were thorugh out his 2 month hospital stay really inspired me to get my bum in gear!
Interesting Info: I just celebrated my 1st wedding anniversary. I live in Southern Colorado with my hubby, my german shepherd and my 6 cats! (Ok, 4 of them are outdoors cats which we just randomly adopted as strays)

AGE: 19, turning 20 in 9 days

Current Certs: only lifeguard, cpr, and first aid
Nursing School Info: Attending one for my BSN, we start on July 5th with a class of 160 students.
What inspired you: Its a career where I can help people on an intimate level and I'll never have trouble finding work!
Interesting Info: I started off university as a physics major, with the intent to apply to medical school. It only took me one semester to realize I didn't want to be taking classes until I was 30
I would love to work as a nurse but once I get married and have children I want to be a stay at home mom and not work unless necessary.
