How do you know which size to get beforehand? I really don't want to wait to get any I can just see sending my hubby out for that. I did buy a tank top and one bra that hopefully will work.

Bravado bras are stretchy and are for 2 cup sizes at a time. They have a Gorgeous version on their site too, for sale right now (http://www.bravadodesigns.com/page.asp?ID=613). In my experience it's better to pay for a good quality bra and only get 2 or 3, than to have several cheapy ones that don't support you. Medela makes good bras also. This is a good site to buy from: http://www.pumpstation.com/pumpstat...3019&mscssid=P2QKWL1S8CH09MWSXGR163MH7LSC5MNE
I didn't have to get anything bigger, though on oversupply days it is a pain and I have to remember to pump more often. I have the same size as I did before, as I had lost weight and the DD was a bit too big (by a cup size) before the baby was born. The only bra I was able to wear at the time was by VS.
We have no VS here, and I have to go to a specialty dessous (lingerie) shop out here just to find a DD bra... which is harrowing enough since I am a hard fit and I just hate bra shopping (it honestly sends me to tears as I am small in the chest size but large in the bust itself, and short in the shoulders, no one has what I can wear)... Bra shopping for me is 10x worse than shoe shopping for me. I love both shoes and bras, but I can't find anything to fit in all the stores in my area, and it takes hours and days and weeks of searching to finally see my need come to fruition (and I am not exaggerating).
I ordered two VS nursing bras (no underwire), and they have been wonderful. Since they are so expensive, I have waited to get more... and I definitely need more! It is too hot and humid here to just get by with two.
....I used those tank tops made for working out - the ones with the 10% Spandex.....
).
It's so frustrating..Hope you don't mind my asking... but I gotta know (as you can only rotate two nursing bras so much...).
With the tanks, how do/did you keep the breast pads in place?
I have a heck-of-a-time keeping them in place in a regular bra, but it's next to impossible in a tank (they are form fitting), and I would love to just go in one of them because I have so much more air flow.... but I have a tendency to.. um.. leak if my DS gets upset or super hungry, and it will totally drench what I am wearing if the pads are not in place properly. It's so frustrating..

) but once you get to an E cup the smallest back size it comes in is a 12 (US34), and I'm an 8 (US30). It's so hard to find a bra in the right size, but even if you do it's very expensive and usually doesn't give great support.
). On each side under your underarms there is usually a seam, This is where the backing of the bra meets the cup. It should be a straight, vertical seam. You should take this in, I think it's about half an inch per size.
Don't touch the back of the bra where the clips are or the middle of the bra between the breasts because then you'll start to point outwards.
