  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

as a guy, the fact that your future wife has had sex with someone is a hard thing to deal with. I mean I always wanted sex to be something only my wife and I shared. But I have screwed up in the past so I cant expect my wife to be completely perfect, its unrealistic. I cant really think of a number because every situation is different. Through Christ, we can have the peace to forgive them for pretty much anything. Anything with double digits might just make me throw up (yes literally).

Hi guys.I have recently met a really sweet Christian girl and am considering dating her.One possible problem that makes me wonder about whether I will or not is her sexually past.So my question for you guys (and girls)is...how many sexual partners is too many before you would consider not dating someone?
Hrm... Well, I would not date a saved woman who lived the life of a fallen woman. If she made mistakes in her past, it must have been when she was foolishly young or before she was saved. I think the number of those mistakes that would be permissible would depend on the person and the circumstances during the time the events occurred. That being said, I don't like the possibility of many lowlifes on the street being able to come up to me and tell me how in the past they had sex with my wife...

Finally some realistic posts! I know that ultimate forgiveness is something we should strive for. I know that if the acts were committed before one is a Christian, but then became a Christian and ceased that activity should be looked at. People make mistakes and a lot of them learn from them, especially those that come to know the Lord. There are men who are greater than I and can forgive more than I, but everyone has a limit and everyone has a number. If someone's SO could not remember just how many people they had been with and had a couple vids out on the internet, Christian or not, I doubt there's anyone in here who could honestly tell me that this would be an easy thing to overlook.

Not to create an argument, I know my post will be controversial. I'm just trying to be realistic. There are those who can forgive one's past more than others and, I believe, they are better than I am. It is, indeed, a flaw in my personality, but doubt there's anyone in here who doesn't have that flaw to a certain extent. Guess I, and these two gentlemen in my quotes, are just more open about ours.
