Silent prayer near an abortion centre is wrongthink under the law.
I hope everyone is paying attention because this could be coming to a location near you, look at the direction that our nation is going how long will it be before we have laws here that control thought.

Here is the phrase Birmingham council used ( presumably in a byelaw)

The censorship zone measure introduced by Birmingham authorities criminalises individuals percieved to be “engaging in any act of approval or disapproval or attempted act of approval or disapproval” in relation to abortion, including through “verbal or written means, prayer or counselling…”.

it is an outrage.
christian charities must take this to the Supreme Court if needs be.
a bye law cannot overturn U.K. law. It clearly has.

Police try to demand bail conditions that she MUST not speak to a Catholic priest!
How dare they ?
Here in the US they are fighting a case where they did ban prayer.

They need to decide whether they are a genuinely democratic country committed to protecting the peaceful exercise of the right to freedom of speech. The US needs to ask this question as well.

Like it says in 2 Corinthians 4:4 Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

So many people have been blinded to the Truth, it's not hard to believe that people aren't protesting against this. Satan is having a field day with the atheists and pushing further and further with his evil.

Wow.
How could they even win that battle in court?

I'm assuming she was praying....
It's laughable. I would be like 'Well, get your crystal ball checked and don't tell me how to think.'

I think you're right but the very fact the police arrested her knowing they were being filmed and that they couldn't see her doing anything wrong is testimony to the state of our policing. They very often don't arrest people even when they know they have committed offenses! So for example last year I saw a man stealing road planings from our lane and reported him. The police came and caught him in the act but refused to arrest him because "the value of the crime was so small, and the cost to arrest and prosecute so high, that it was not worth it". As he wouldn't accept a police caution, he got nothing despite being caught red handed stealing!

Compare and contrast , a different street , a different day.
incitement to violence is not a crime.
mental prayer is .
now - can anyone imagine an arrest for suspected Islamic prayer? Not a chance.
The police backed off Pakistani grooming gangs fearing a race incident.

Prayer has been forbidden in some places in America for decades. You never heard of Madalyn Murray O'Hair?
Speaking out to be heard.
But thinking someone is in prayer?
Um... that crosses every line possible.

BTW I am against being against prayer.
