Mercenaries 2 on the PS2

I loved the original and had put off buying the sequel because I'd heard a lot of negative things. Although it's not as good as the first, it's still a lot of fun and much better than I was expecting, especially for a cheap price.

The Pal version. I live in the Uk where we were lucky enough for it to be released! I like the fact that it uses sub-titles. The voice acting on the first game, unintentionally, kept making me giggle. Whereas in Shenmue 2 voices sound so much more convincing in Japanese, even though I don't understand a word of what they are saying!

I have a tenchu game that does that cant figure out how to turn on the subtitles so have no idea what they are saying. I used to laugh at the first resident evil voice acting...it was so appallingly bad!

Hey, it was released where I live as well! Well, I didn't live here when it was released, but that's okay. It would be nice to have subtitles on my copies of Shenmue I and II. I can get by in Japanese, but I'm not nearly fluent enough to get the full enjoyment out of it. Oh well, there are ways around that.

I never played resi 1 (apart from two minutes of the gamecube remake) but resi 2's voice acting was laugh out loud funny as I recall (still a scary game though). I managed to beat that one but Code Veronica, I can't manage

Just finished playing through Metroid Prime on the Wii. The new controls make a huge difference and I found the game to be much easier to play and enjoy this time around.

its a great game worth to own in your collection , im honest if I was rich and was living in japan and could understand japanese I would buy it instead of using a Emulator

Well, you could use a FAQ to play through it and you don't need to live in Japan to get and play it (play it on a Super Nintendo system). Unfortunately, it'll cost you in the $70-80 to get a hold of.
