I'm A-OK with folks disliking abortion. I'm pro choice and I don't really like the idea of abortion. But clearly something needs to be done to serve the health needs of the poor and underserved in this nation.

If PP provides abortions but also fills a necessary gap in healthcare maybe the answer is to vote for programs that provide a better social safety net so folks like PP don't have to be the only resource for some of these things.

Can we do that? Maybe in doing so our abortion rate will fall! (As it has in many developed countries with stronger social safety nets).

It seems that our Puritanism and our love of money have created a perfect storm of the worst possible outcomes for PEOPLE while preserving the best possible outcome for our wallets.

I used to agree with this sentiment but I'm pretty sure part of the "Green New Deal" is mandatory abortions and mandatory gay marriage for all American citizens regardless of gender.

The important thing is that atheists still pay taxes while churches don't meaning that the atheists help support costs that churches don't cover for society. That's the most fair and equitable arrangement.
