Nothern Colorado

Just curious - anybody here located in Northern Colorado? (Denver, Loveland, Ft.Collins, etc). I'm in Greeley and have been living in this State since last year. Holla back - I'm always looking for new friends in the area

Ft Collins is considered northern-Denver isn't. It isn't the biggest area but Hayden is where that fire was years ago. Pretty much everything though north of I 70 I guess you could call northern! I'm in Denver subs.

Howdy. I'm down around Lakewood/Wheat Ridge area. I've been in the state for about 11 years but have recently become a little bit disenchanted due to the political climate. I hear that some of the northern Colorado counties want to secede from the state and become the State of Northern Colorado. Apparently, 4 of our current states used to be a part of another state. For instance:

Kentucky used to be part of Virginia.
Tennessee was a part of North Carolina.
Maine used to belong to Massachusetts.
West Virginia broke from Virginia.

However, there have been 51 attempts to form a 51st state but all have failed so the likelihood that northern Colorado will succeed is slim to none.

I happen to agree, politically, with the northern Coloradans and will move there if they happen to succeed.
