Hi,
Just thought I'd write, I am newly diagnosed with Bipolar Type II I think...in September. I'm having a hard time with it at the moment, and often don't take my medication properly. I am currently taking epilim and I'm also on Lovan for the depression (prozac) and I am also taking anti thyroid tablets as I have graves disease. I don't often take my medication though. Yesterday I had to have a Brain CT scan as I have had head pain and neck stiffness with tingling in fingers, speech and vision disturbances and coordination problems. Also my brain feels incredibly slow, which is different to normal (I'm sure other manics will understand that feeling) And now I have to wait for the results. After all this rambling, I do have a question, if I am having a depressive or manic episode, when should I go to the hospital? I am one of those people that feel that they aren't really that sick and I do look as if I am coping well but inside I'm not....
