Now that our baby is 10 months old, my husband and I have decided to not try and not prevent. If I'm not pregnant by the end of the year, the plan is to then actively TTC.

I'm still breastfeeding about as frequently as ever and my fertility has not yet returned (to my knowledge--I know you can ovulate before you get your first postpartum period). I am starting to chart again, though. It will be interesting to see what happens.

I'm a little freaked out about the thought of taking care of two very young children, but I want to have our kids close together if we can. I love being pregnant, I love breastfeeding, I just love being a mom. We'll see what God does.

Any of you have little ones close together?

My children are 7, just turned 4, almost 3, 1 1/2, and due in 4 weeks. So, yeah.

I was still nursing when concieved with #4 and #5. (Got regular periods back within a few months of delivery, though).
It is fun to have them close together; they all adore each other. Does take some careful watching, though. 1 1/2 isn't old enough to open doors, but 2 1/2 will open doors for him and watch him get into stuff. They enjoy playing in the toilet together. (Where is the roll eyes smilie?)

Just keep your sense of humor.

Hm, I was in the same place as you not too long ago...still breastfeeding lots (but I had gotten AF back a few months earlier), DD was 10 mo., decided to stop preventing but not start charting or doing anything crazy to TTC. 2 months later I got pregnant. :) I'm due in December so I don't know what it'll be like yet, but I'm looking forward to it, mostly. If nothing else, it will be an adventure! :D
