So are you saying you were never able to establish a relationship with God? The Bible says: "You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart." Jer29:13. So if you were seeking for God, then it must have been half hearted. We are told you have to search for him with ALL your heart.

Again we are told that He understand every motive behind every thoughts. The only way He will reject you is if you first forsake Him. The Bible is filled with teaching on knowing God.

Chronicles 28:9 "And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.

No, the Bible is right and true. If you want to reject the Bible you have that freedom. But don't expect us to buy into your deception. No matter how old and tired your attitude is. God gives you that choice. He gives you that freedom. So you are at liberty to exercise your options. Although it really is not freedom or liberty. What you want is bondage and entanglement. We are told that Moses chose to suffer with God's people rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a little while. You can always choose the pleasure of sin, but in the end you will reap destruction.

I mean not just you, this is not personal so much as it is universal. We all have to decide. It is a choice we all have to make if we want to go with God or not. After all your here on a Christian board, so you can expect that we are going to talk about the Bible and the truth here. There must be something that is drawing you here. There must be a part of you somewhere that wants what God has to offer you.

I told her I was not looking for a wife I just wanted a friend. She said she wanted to be my friend and we still are very good friends. I had girls tell me they were not looking for a friend, they wanted a husband. That made my mind go tilt. I could not understand WHY would they want to marry someone that they were not friends with.

I will repeat what I said though. If God did not "write back" then the Bible says it was because she was not seeking Him with her whole heart. That is my experance, that is what I have to offer. You can check around to see if other Christians believe something different.
