one of my biggest questions that i cant seem to get my head around.. the way i see it, god has been around forever, god will be around forever. god is complete in himself and doesnt need anything else.

what then was his reasons for creating this world, humans etc.

In a simple idea, do you have any hobbies?

Do you build anything? Like Model Cars, or paint pictures, or make bird houses, collect horses, Etc?

Now, if you do. Why?

i am consumed by thoughts and questions like this all the time, wanting to know all the answers, obviously i cant, but i keep trying anyway, and im sure one day ill sort it out.
what about people, i have a few friends for example, who just dont care. i cant even debate with them because they are atheist through and through, since there is no god, no religion, no nothing, when they die nothing happens its just black, they dont feel the need to argue at all. i feel god is working in me, helping me by making my brain question, and argue etc. but what about these people? will they ever be saved?

Maybe.

We can't save people, we can only offer our wisdom and our paitence. Only God can turn a heart.

I would have to say, there is no magic pill against Apathy. If they do not care, just respect that, and let it go, they will respect you more for that.

I know. Aren't you scared for people like that? I pray right now for those that are especially on your heart, that God would pursue them, and make Himself real to them.

doesnt that just seem like god is a child wanting a little puppy dog or something to keep him company? it must be a bigger plan than that. i believe that there must be a god, i look at the world around me and just know that it cant have happened by random chance, but why. especially when he knew it was going to turn out bad. he knew that humans would turn from him etcetc..

Because He knew the future and the ultimate outcome that would come from the rebellion. The momentary pain was worth the long term gain.

Well some people fake nonchalance in the belief that it makes them look strong. While others have through about God and decided that it is all a fantasy. Others who are like this might come to a point in their lives when they do reconsider the Question of God. We do not know how people will change during their lives, so even though they might be closed minded now future events in their lives might change their outlook. We cannot look upon someone and make the call they are a lost cause and will never be saved. God knows the real situation within their minds and knows their future.

This is actually a very perceptive question. Why now? Why not a trillion years ago? This requires some more in depth thinking about the nature of God, I think. One thing that might be relevant is the biblical concept of God being atemporal. Just as He exists outside of space and matter so He also exists outside of time. You may also find it relevant that though we have not existed eternally, we have eternally existed in the mind of God. Many scriptures point to the fact that He knew each and every one of us before the foundations of the world. Scripture describes God as both omniscient and immutable. He knows all and has always known all. There was never a moment when God did not know about you.
