CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I can't stand how the media fills our heads with the image of "perfect" people. Not many people I know are anywhere near perfect. That's really good you don't drink or do drugs.Marmaladegirl22 said:

I was drawn to this post and I felt that I needed to read it. After reading all the posts I am going to share with you a little about my wife, who recently passed away. She was what the world would call average looking...but to me..she was my sun, moon and stars...she was the most beautiful woman in the world to me. She suffered from depression....I just found that when this afflicted her that It was my turn to act goofy and make her smile.....She had scars, both physical and emotinal from all types of abuse....I never saw scars...I saw past them...I saw through the shell we use on this world...I saw the beauty of her soul...I saw the beauty of her mind....I saw the beauty of what our Father in heaven had bestowed upon me...I saw through all the hype and useless media pressure of "the model".....I saw what true love was all about....a love built on trust, devotion, faith, prayer, GOD...and a deeper understanding of each other. So be faithfull marmaladegirl, be devoted not to this world and all the hype, but to being one of God's Children, being true to yourself, true to God. You are more beautiful then you will ever know... ..especially in God's eyes..
he made you....beauty is in the eye of the beholder and in the mind...and I am sure there is someone out there right now waiting to meet you and let you see how beautiful you are! You just have to be patient and wait for that to happen!
