This thread is somewhere you can post about things in the world (whatever they may be) that you don't think is cool, in other words, things that you do not agree with. Of course feel free to comment on other peoples thoughts, this is purely for the sake of conversation.


I read that this biologist is suing a federally funded research center, for firing him after he refused to admit that Darwinian evolution was scientific fact. That just doesn't sit right with me.

A thread like this should be shut down before it even begins, sorry OP.

What I think is "not cool": People starting threads that will blatantly cause -war- to break out between people.

The only thing that could possibly come from a thread like this, is people being insulted by other people's "lists".

it promotes discussion on issues we are all thinking of.

How people respond is up to them, it isn't necessarily war mongering at all.

For me I'd like to see a lot more of the world protected against reducing the rain forests, I wonder how that all happens? does anyone know?

What I hate is those "Better than thou" people sit behind /next/in the same room with you and talk so much and so loud like they know more than anyone else there!

I can't stand it when someone quotes something from the bible but has absolutly no understanding of it what so ever and they are using it to try and justify something.

4 hour exames = not cool. (Sorry if I have no sympathy, but I had several times where I took 4 hour exams in my undergrad years.)

Girls who try to back-lead in dancing. Definatly not cool. In ballroom dancing I've learned to keep a woman in her place. . . following.

I'm trying to think how long my graduate exam is. Its at least 4 hours. It might be as many as 6 hours. Plus I've got to drive about an hour and a half to take it. Ugg

Yeah, I agree that long exams like that are not cool at all, aren't you guys allowed a break. How do they expect someone to sit in a seat and push a penicl or pen for that long?
