  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am a PK(pastor's kid), and my dad just got a call from a church in FL, they want him to apply for a job. I am scared of moving agian. I don't think that I can handle anouther move. I finally found a youth group that I love, I am making friends there. I have a youth pastor I love, and trust. It is just really stress full. I mean, things where just starting to get better for once, I am starting to fit in. please pray for me. and is it awful that a I want to pray that we don't move?

Ofcourse it's not awful, I can see how hard it must be for you to think of facing moving away from somewhere you're just feeling settled in. Remember that whatever happens, God is always looking out for you -he has a plan for you too -the BEST plan. So I pray that God's will is done in yours and your dad's life, and that you will know peace and God's blessing in your life no matter what the final outcome is. I really hope things go good for you! :hug:

Lord be with this person and watch over them and help them and their family make the right decisons and that he will find it in his heart to talk to his father and that his father will re-consider the move. Praying that he will fit in and won't have to move in thy will. Amen!!
