  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Daffodilly, that's great! My son who's just a few months younger than you hasn't had any cavities either. But, my youngest daughter, who's 9 has thin enamel and has had to have fillings every check up since she was 4. (some people have strong teeth, some don't. My youngest is the most diligent about her oral hygeine of anyone I know, including myself. And I'm pretty diligent)

Occasionally. My husband was brought up differently than I was. And occasionally I have to make him things that he likes, or he gets petulant. (My mother cooked most things from her Yoga cookbook. Everything we ate was healthy. My husbands mother on the other hand, cooked a lot of hamburger helper, etc type vegetable free meals and doesn't probably to this day see the correlation between how their family eats and how many of them have died from stroke, heart attack and kidney failure by the time they were my age. )

How many pairs of shoes (including boots and sandles) do you have?

I am teaching today. All I can say is "Thank goodness it is Friday!"

And RendaLane, about the shoes...I just went and counted and I have 23 pairs of shoes! Sheesh! Now I am wishing I had all the money back that I spent on them, because I don't wear half of them anymore.

My question is has anyone ever had two jobs at the same time? (I don't mean your paying job and your "mama" job, but two paying jobs.)
