I can touch the floor flathanded without bending my knees from a standing position. I don't know if that's like you or not. For all I know, "like you" could mean while sitting on the floor.

What type of books do you read?

I'm not a fan of romance novels or sci fi fantasies, but I read (and enjoy) everything else. My favorite fiction genres are mystery and historical fiction. I also read a lot of gardening, knitting, organic eating, etc. type books. We've got a really nice library in town.

What is the most challenging thing you have ever done and why?

Foster parenting.
It was so difficult to give the kids the love they needed and then truly be happy for them when they went back to rough family situations or were adopted by someone else.
I have so much admiration for those who do that for years and years. That's truly selfless love.

If you could go back and change one thing you've done - in your whole life - what would it be?

I would marry for love. And the second thing which you did not ask for, lol, is that I would have gone to college sooner.

Do you have long and short term goals, what are they if you do?

Short term goal: open education center with Christ-centered 12 step classes.

Long term goal: open halfway house/shelter

Do you enjoy non-fiction more than fiction?

What has changed the most for you lately?

My walk with christ I am learning to trust and rely on Him more and to let go of my children knowing God loves them more

Visit my aunt in Texas. I miss her so much.

I'm not much of a movie watcher, really.
I do like Flywheel and Facing the Giants though.

Do you pray regularly for those on the mission field?

I am thinking of doing some outreach type Christian work in Turkey, but I'd have to get a passport first.
(The music at our Baptist church is amazing too, I am wanting to join the music group)
