CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes, but the season has to be right. It's kind of dangerous in wintertime, and in the spring, my allergies cause problems.

Yes, though I'll admit my attitude is better about it some days than others.
But I get up and have my devotions first thing every day unless I'm too ill to manage it. I figure the Holy Spirit can use that, even on the days I'm just going through the motions.

(but if you sincerely are asking for advise, I'll tell you. When I was newer in Christ, I used to get easily offended by what I perceived to be negative emotional reactions in other people. But, eventually, I figured out that if I wasn't seeing people with God's love and compassion, then it was me that had the problem, not them. And I started praying for God to change my own heart. It made a huge difference in what offended me. And in fact made it almost impossible to offend me at all. And now, when I see people getting all wigged out over what is imo nothing to get their panties in a bunch about, I try to tease them out of their bad humor. Or do what a lot of people do here, and just let them spin out of control without letting them know I've witnessed it. That's in large part why I'm answering your question. ( there was another person in this forum when I came in. And she didn't answer you. Which knowing her, is probably better for her in the long run. ) Because questions like yours by and large, will go unanswered in threads like these. And you will, without probably meaning to, kill this thread. Either that, or they'll answer, that they've never witnessed any such thing and don't know what you're talking about... leaving you feeling like you're either imagining things or are overly sensitive compared to the average shmo. )

Hmmmm -- ethnic restaurants . . . I like Spanish, Italian, German -- I guess I just answered YES, but I do not like Thai or Indian foods.

I used to be the first one up. And I did enjoy having my alone time to read, study and to pray. But, lately, my two teenagers have been getting up before me. (and I typically get up about 5) So, now, it's a whole new deal. (and I like it too)
