CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No. I wasn't into nursery rhymes as a child. I was into learning about the human heart. (Yeah, I was a weird kid, lol.)

Serious, stoic, philosophical, very funny, reasonable, rational, orderly, diligent, honorable, trust worthy, family oriented, humble, conscientious, a wall flower or a leader depending on the situation, self conscious, humble, get embarrassed easily, especially when it comes to being ridiculed about my gender, my hair color or my intelligence, I don't see anything in black and white, and don't think I know the absolute answers to questions that don't have any, I'm not prideful, although I have arrogant tendencies, I'm fun loving, will compromise to get a long, and very able to form an intelligent thought or argument, although, being female, it doesn't usually go over too well, deeply scarred by family issues, child abuse survivor, survivor of spousal abuse, have lost a lot emotionally, I'm compassionate as a result (some people who survive tragedy become callous), not so great with money, not so great with people...well, that's not really true, I'm not so great with arrogant or aggressive people or people who belittle my existance. (I could probably go on more. But, that's actually a very tough question to answer in a short way, for me. And if I made it longer, well, people wouldn't want to read it. (it's actually past that line in the sand now.

I enjoyed reading it.
My dream job is teaching preschool or kindergarten.
(Of course that could change. This time last year I was certain I wanted to go into some sort of engineering or medical research.)

Not so often anymore. But, when I was younger, I was more creative. And spent a lot of time imagining a world better than the one I was in.
