What was the last book you read and when ?

I read Genesis, and Mathew from the NIV Bible (trying a different version this year) and 90 minutes in Heaven, this morning.

Leyton- What made you decide to go back for your masters so late in your life? (because I've been thinking of going back myself)

The children had left home and the house was empty. I sat in church one Sunday morning and prayed for the Lord to give me direction in my life and 2 weeks later I had an offer to study at university shortly followed by another. I have gained my BA Hons in Theology and Religious Studies and am currently Studying for the Masters. Please let me know how you get on

Thanks. I appreciate your answer. I still have children at home. And it will be a long while before they'll be out of my hair. But, I have been a little worried about how quickly technology is advancing, and how antiquated my skills are becoming, and worry that should something happen to my husband, we, as a family would be in big trouble if I couldn't get a good paying job to support us all.

What is your favorite color, and why?

Purple.
I think it's just become a habit now though, it's been my favorite color since I was 6 or 7.

Funny you should ask that. I've got a lasagne in the oven. But it won't be ready for another hour or so. So, I'm eating some Planters Deluxe mixed nuts to tied me over. My favorite are the cashews.

Do you like lasagne? And if so, what kind? (meat, cheese, veggie, chicken?)

I love lasagna! I like regular meat lasagna as well as spinach lasagna with white cheese sauce.

What was your last dream about?

We usually have 3 cheese lasagne, because my daughter is a vegetarian.

It was about running cross country. (not away from something, but for health) The sky was clear blue, the breeze was cool, my muscles were lean and taught, I wasn't out of breath, I felt free and energized! It was wonderful. That was last night btw.

Do you often remember your dreams?

I hardly ever remember my dreams.

Eh... I could take 'em or leave 'em. I used to love them when I was your age though.

What's your favorite cold beverage?

Water. I know that's boring, but it's my favorite.

That's so funny. I think you and are on a telepathic link or something. I almost wrote, not counting water. I like water too.

I do, but they're about to run out soon. I subscribe to Country house, Good housekeeping, Prevention, Worth, Sports Weekly and Okay! I think that's all of them. I answered a poll, and was rewarded with magazine subscriptions. (I didn't have to pay for them)

No, I've never heard of it - is it a board game?

If you play a musical instrument, which instrument do you play? If you don't play, which one would you like to learn to play?

Violin, piano, bass guitar, and a little electric guitar.

Who is your hero and why?

Sylvia Browne. Because she stands against negative public opinion and hateful religious fanatic attacks and is not afraid to be who she is and tell the truth. Something I don't know if I would be able to do in her place.

How many bedrooms are there in your home?

Well, officially it's a "one bedroom chalet" (that's what the plans said) but we've turned it into a 3 bedroom home.


Is your bedroom floor carpeted?

nope, just plain pine floorboards.




do you have a fireplace in your home ?

No I don't. That would be awesome though.
