CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Oh gosh, too many to count unfortunately. I had hoped to have a low scale Christmas, but me and my family just way over did it. In fact, I feel a little guilty about how many we have and how many I'm getting. Espeically because I didn't ask for that much. *Sigh...

Not this year. My aunt moved to Oklahoma so, this is the first year, that my family and my aunt, her daughter and her husband won't be getting together.

Not really. I've never really had bad dreams or nightmares. Which, considering most people have at some point in their life, that's pretty unusual I think.

We've done a lot of great ones. I guess the best was probably a backpacking trip on the Appalachian Trail, 2 summers ago.

Haven't really made any but would be good to finish my degree and save as much as possible so that my husband gets to have his birthday holiday in the US.
