I like happy endings.
I can live without the happy endings, but I prefer movies with an encouraging theme over movies that focus on sex or violence and are full of coarse language.

Do you rent many movies?

No, hardly ever...for the same reasons you just mentioned, Joanna. Our public library has movies and sometimes we borrow those...it's free unless you get them back late. I'm not into PG-13 and we never watch R-rated. I don't understand why the film makers choose to be so nasty; it is sad.

Have you ever had a desire to be a free-lance writer of movies or books?

Yes, childrens' books.
I'm not sure I'm good enough though, but it's something I'm praying about and in the meantime I enjoy making up stories for kids in the church nursery and Junior church and things.

How did you decide to do what you're doing (or plan to do) for a living?

I love to help people and to assist in the process of healing and changing negative behavior to positive steps and positive behavior. I have volunteered for years in jail ministry and at the shelter and I want to have the educational backing and knowledge to have a greater impact and be used by God.

What is your favorite book in the bible?

James, I think.
It's pretty hard to choose just one, but James is full of such good teaching, and he doesn't worry much about hurting your feelings when he gives you the truth.....

It comes pretty easily.
I've had lots of practice though, I was pretty little when my parents started giving me a verse a week to learn. I always enjoyed it when I was little and I'm glad to have those verses "hidden in my heart".

Have you ever been in a Bible Drill or Sword Drill?

(Did you google Sword Drill? JK - because I like to joke with you. A Sword Drill is a game where you hold your Bible (Sword) up by the Binding and someone gives a Scripture reference and then you rush to find the verse, stand up and read it. First one wins a point for their team. It's a lot more fun than it sounds.....)
