My husband. I would have never in a million years chosen to live here on my own. We live in a very rural part of Alaska. (some of the folks over in TAW said that rural Alaska is redundant and they may very well be right.) Any who, I'm with you, I prefer a smaller town.

How do you like your popcorn?

Buttered with plain M&M's. (but honestly, I'm not really that into popcorn. My husband on the other hand, can eat a large size movie popcorn all by himself! (and he's not fat ))

Have you ever refinanced your home?

I've never been to the point that I could even buy a home much less be able to refinance one. I'd like my own home though.

Is there any one dream of yours that you want to see fulfilled before you die and what is it?

Yep I would like to get over to the Phillipines to start an orphanage in the dump grounds, and take the girls who are working in prostitution over there and school them teaching them that there are other ways of making money.

What is the hottest temperature it generally gets to where you live?

Every once in a while it gets up to 97 but most of the time it's in the 80s.
Do you plan to move in the near future?

I certainly hope so. I do not like where I'm living currently at all.

Do you ever wish you could rep more people? I always seem to run out of reps to give.

Do you have a specific morning show that you like to watch?

We don't have TV right now but even when we did, there wasn't a show I'd wake up just to watch.

Have you ever competed in a sport above the high school level?

Yeah, mogul skiing. Interestingly, with the Olympics questions around here very recently, I used to want to be a Gold Medal winner for the U.S. Olympic Team in Moguls. Worked my butt off practicing, stopped going to college to practice, and drove thousands of miles all around the west to compete... but eventually gave it up, just not good enough and that's alright.

BTW, I wanted to run the 1000m in the olympics. My hero was Mary Decker. But alas, I wasn't fast enough. I didn't even place better than second in high school. Oh well.

Who was your hero when you were younger?

My 8th grade math teacher, Mr. Manna. He looked and acted like Jesus; he had more joy than anyone I've ever met.

Have you ever been on a snowmobile?

I owned one for awhile so yes. I hope to get another one when I move back to Alaska!
