My favourite grandpa, was the most beautiful man apart from Jesus to walk the earth. He had a great big belly, he was an Irish man, so he wasn't overly loud, but loved to laugh. He would constantly tease us, and make us kids giggle, I only ever heard him yell once. He was protective, and he was the only real father I had until I met the Lord.

When did you last go for a walk?

My favorite Grandpa liked to laugh and tell me stories. And he new the Bible so well, he could quote whole chapters of it to you without looking, just to solidify whatever point he was trying to make. He used to play the piano and accordian. And Grandma would call him Grandpa in front of us, and Papa in front of our parents. I remember she would say "Grandpa, would you pray so we can eat?" Because he would always get to talking to everyone at meal time. He was a good prayer-er too. He used to call me Granddaughter. I was the first grandchild. And when I had my first child, he said things like "You're the one who made me great! " (because my child made him a great grandpa) He died a few years ago of Alzheimers and complications from a broken hip and pneumonia. We sang hymns to him in the hospital, my grandmother and I, acapela. I miss him so much. I can still here him laugh. And when I drink a milk shake, I remember to slurp the end of it, the part with the air bubbles in it that makes a really loud sound. Because he always did that saying it was the best part. He and my grandmother are why I'm a Christian.

Thank you for asking that question. It's nice to remember our loved ones who have gone before us to be with the Lord.

What is your favorite hymn?

Just 'cos there were two posts at the same time, my last walk was about a month ago. I don't like to walk by my self as I live in bear country and I'm a little scared I'll run up on one of the things.

My favorite hymn is The Battle Hymn of the Republic. Kinda strange as I'm a southern gal but I just love the words. Particularly the last verse:
In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea,
With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me;
As He died to make men holy, let us die to make men free;
While God is marching on.
Just beautiful!

If you could be famous for something what would you have it be?

Saving children from evil men but I don't know if I'd want to be famous for it because God wants us to do things in secret in His name. So I guess what I'm saying is I'd like to be famous to God. I know it sounds stupid but there it is.

Do you consider your feet ugly? My wife thinks mine are like cloven hooves or something. I don't think they are that bad. Kinda cute actually.
