Can a Christian be a non-Trinitarian, yet believe that God is Jesus and Jesus is God, one and the same?
I just cannot explain it. Jews cannot explain the two seemingly different forms of "God" in the OT either which Jesus does explain. Can a Christian be a non-Trinitarian, yet believe that God is Jesus and Jesus is God, one and the same?
Depends on definition of "a Christian".Can a Christian be a non-Trinitarian, yet believe that God is Jesus and Jesus is God, one and the same?
Those who deny the Trinity have to scale down the gospel--and they do.Many in the Messianic community just don’t worry about it. Jesus is the Messiah who died for our sins and rose from the dead. Messianic Jews and Christians were not really part of the original discussion on the Trinity.
You just made human nature and divine nature the same thing. Can a Christian be a non-Trinitarian, yet believe that God is Jesus and Jesus is God, one and the same?
Not worrying about the Trinity is not the same as denying the Trinity. For about 300 years, it wasn't an issue. It is hard enough to follow Christ in the real world, and the Trinity does not change the actions we must take. It does not rob Christ of His glory. Those who deny the Trinity have to scale down the gospel--and they do.
Those who deny the Trinity deny the majesty of God, for they have him
begetting inferior beings (human Jesus) that are not divine,
redeeming by proxy instead of himself, not involving his person in the redemption (by the Son) and sanctification (by the Spirit) of men,
paying no personal price and,
thereby, they rob him of his glory (Ex 14:4).
They have to make God too small--and they do.
They take out the very heart, core and meaning of the Christian faith in God.

If the Trinity is the foundation of your faith and you understand it, I would say nothing against it. However, believing that the Messiah died for our sins and rose from the dead is sufficient for some. Justification, imputation, and passive and active obedience of Christ, etc. is not affected for others. Belief that Christ is the Messiah makes Jesus the Son of God and incorporates the Holy Spirit in His being. There is one God, and how the Holy Spirit, Christ, and The Father are related and form that unity is beyond the understanding of many people, but it doesn’t affect grace or salvation. If somebody says that they believe in the Trinity and not understand it, does it affect their salvation?Of those with saving faith, who "worries" about

Salvation is about believing in and trusting on the person and atoning work of Jesus Christ for the remission of one's sin and right standing with God, and walking in obedience. If the Trinity is the foundation of your faith and you understand it, I would say nothing against it. Do you realize that The Father-Creator-of all and Jesus have been together uniquely forever and ever past , present and future ? While Jesus was on earth as a man, He Prayed to His Father and gave thanks and praise to His Father clearly. Can a Christian be a non-Trinitarian, yet believe that God is Jesus and Jesus is God, one and the same?

In His grace and truth,“May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” (2 Corinthians 13:14)
That's not at all what your post was saying.Indeed they do, when God is not personally involved in our redemption and has farmed it out simply to a mere human.
