Non Christian bands with Christian members..

Anyone here into nonchristian bands that have Christian members? These bands range from Iron Maiden and Dream Theater with little or no christian content to Impelliteri that have a christian world view in alot of their lyrics.

Examples:

Iron maiden: The Drummer Nicko McBrian is a christian

Dream Theater: Bassist John Myung is a Christian

Megadeth: Dave Elleftson (studying to be a pastor) and Dave Mustaine are Christians.

Neal Morse: a progressive christian rock composer who has long time friend Mike Portnoy formerly of Dream Theater play drums. Mike is not a christian.

Impellitteri: Chris Impelliteri allows Rob Rock to have full reign of writing the lrics. Rob is a christian but I am not sure if Chris is. Rob Rock has a solo career and has his own band Driver. Rob has sung in other christian bands like Angelica (self titled debut) and Joshua (Intense Defense).

Any thoughts?

Tom Araya is not a practicing Christian ,actually an interview saying he has a belief in God was taken out of context actually.

Praise Brother Dave Mustaine!!! Done so well in his life after his addictions!!!

Not sure if Ty Tabor of kings X is.We all know Dug Pinick is no longer.I heard also that Collective soul had some Christians in the band too!

A lot of their music contains spiritual and/or scriptural references. Some of the more obvious examples include the Psalm 40-inspired "40," and "Yahweh," while many of their popular songs also contain spiritual lyrics ["Beautiful Day," "Walk On," "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For," "Pride (In the Name of Love)," "Until the End of the World," "Gloria"].
