Who do you think WROTE the Bible?

I will agree that none of the individual authors of the OT were Catholic. However, it was the Pre-Reformation Churches (At that time the One Holy Catholic/Orthodox Church that put all the volumes in order, who decided what was inspired, and what belonged IN the Word of God!)

The Catholic Church didn't write the Bible if that's what you are implying. Regarding the canon of the Bible, I'm fully aware of how it was compiled, but my point still remains that Catholics use sources outside of that canon; so why is the canon not sufficient? Again, in debating 101, you cannot use a reference from "authority" not accepted by the other party, because it has no basis in accepted use. This is the main reason, at least for me, that extra biblical sources aren't relevant.

Why not end the personal attackes and focus on the questions at hand which yOU asked for?

You know Major1, I am not sure if you see how big the foot you keep putting in your mouth, or the grave you keep digging for yourself. but man, as a friend, I gotta tell ya, you might want to take a step back, take a deep breath, and take a good long look at how, and why you "really" started this thread. I know we have had our differences, but we've never seemed to stoop to the point of lying about one another like you have against me on this thread.


Sooooooo......No, my friend, I will not be participating in a thread that's based on blatant and knowing deceit of the OP. With that being said..... I feel this posting one of God's Ten Commandments are in order:

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

Just in case you are having a hard time sleeping Maj1, admittance, being contrite, and asking for forgivness of our wrong doings can.... and will do wonders.
