And would not have lasted a day on the water given its size and contents. As I've said the ark like the flood requires miracles piled on miracles with the miracle of god hiding all the evidence to work.

Not if you read the narrative. The ark was "lifted up" by, and, "went on" the flood waters. It didn't need to fight against any wave or current as ships must do.

Why do you quote YHWH'S WORD<
and flatly remain an enemy of Jesus ? (He says anyone who denies His Word denies Him)

Sounds good until you give a moments thought to the 'vapours' generated by thousands of animals dedicating a quantity of manure that the Noah family would have found impossible to deal with given the tiny ventilation door available.

The ark would have needed a great ventilation system, which I envision as large furnaces throughout the structure. They would not only provide warmth but plenty of fresh 'draft' air that would remove any noxious vapors produced by the animals.

Animals on 'maintenance' rations not only eat very little but produce very little manure, all of which can be managed by their bedding material. Skeptics always think in terms of big piles of wet, smelly manure. Such was not the case.

He would have destroyed Israel in the desert, but for the pleading of Moses.

And once again way outside the technology of the time. Furnaces? In a ship covered in flammable pitch? As described in the Old Testament there is no place for furnaces, or the fuel for them.

And that was when He still showed mercy.....

In the coming wrath, for those opposed to Jesus, no mercy - no future hope - no recovery......

Thousands of animals defecating, one tiny ventilation door. What can go wrong? Better not light a match.

God just gave the dimensions needed and a few other details. Noah and others would have 'fitted it out" (excuse the shipbuilding term).

That's what happens when someone takes the attitude:

"Oh, look what so-and-so did in the Bible. I can do that too!"

What? No, you are simply posting nonsense again.

You do realize that in this part of the forum you have a need to come up with some sort of support for your claims, don't you?

True. Mankind has had their 'space to repent' and have blown it.

We have large furnaces within very combustible structures even today. I have two; a furnace and a fireplace (even my oven is right against the side of my wooden kitchen cabinet).

I'm sure that managing fires without burning everything down was a skill in Noah's day.

We have large furnaces within very combustible structures even (gasp) today. I have two; a furnace and a fireplace. You'd be aghast at how close both are to combustible surfaces.
Yes, now how do you fuel them? And monitor them? How many people are required to empty the tonnes of manure, fuel the furnaces, feed the animals, all using the single tiny door? How much fuel is required, along with food and clean water?

The ark is beyond the technology of today let alone 5000+ years ago.

They were much 'smarter' than people today - they believed in God either because God saved them, or because God destroyed them !!!!!!

Same thing now - these end days - everyone will know that He is God,
and
everyone will either be saved, or destroyed. No other options !!!!!

I'm now convinced this is about demanding your opponent and even more so than I mentioned before..it's really showing up more and more in your posts as I'm sure most can see. The less you have to back your end, the more insecure and the more of that mess you dish out in order to create an illusion you have an upper hand. Typical reaction.
[/QUOTE]

Now you are just making up garbage. I am willing to support my claims. I have explained why you were wrong. If anyone is not willing to support their claims that would be you.

Once again, you do not even understand the concept of evidence. I can help you with that.

I already did so for you. You should have said that you did not understand when I did so.

Once again, there are not that many organisms alive at one point in time. If all of the existing life did and left a layer of fossils that would be only one thin strata. That is not what we see. We see thousands and thousands of feet of fossils. Far more life than could exist at once by a factor of one thousand. Your model does not match reality. Therefore it is wrong.

That is not what I said. I said that no theory is proved absolutely. And you fail because you have no evidence at all. Using the scientific method one can show that ideas are wrong. For example your example fails when one looks at reality. Therefore it is false. Scientists have to keep the door open to the fact that they may be wrong. If you want to discuss science you need to go by the rules of science. In science ideas are tested to see if they are wrong, more than if they are right. If an explanation can fit the evidence and has been tested it is accepted as being tentatively correct until something better comes along. The problem is that your side tend to avoid making testable claims and there followers do not see how untestable claims are worthless.

Well if you are going by that loose definition of "proof" then evolution is proven. The lack of a flood is proven. But you are the one changing the meaning of a word here. Scientists like to stay open minded. Concepts "proven" to be right in the past have been shown to be wrong. That is why scientists avoid the "proof".

Oh man, I almost forgot about the animals. We could have a whole other thread on why the animals make it impossible.
