  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What temperature were they kept at? Animals with different climatary needs cannot survive at the same temperature. And what about humidity? Desert species would suffer greatly and would be prone to illness.
Many of todays species did not exist back then, they are the product of adaptation. For example, dogs, wolves, jackals, dingos, coyotes, etc. are all the product of this adaptation. At that time, only their predecessors existed and these had different needs than today's animals. What I said about animals would also be true of fish. As far as plants go, they didn't have to survive, only their seeds.

It isn't difficult to understand that many things would have floated on the surface of the water, including mats of vegetation.
And the Bible says specifically that ALL land animals were on the boat. (Gen. 7.8.)

And it says that any land animal not aboard the ark died. (Gen. 7:21-23)

Where does it say that "ALL" didn't mean only those selected for the ark, and not others that weren't?

I do not believe that dinosaurs existed at the time of Noah's flood, but had they existed, they were not on the ark.
Obviously, the growth of plant life would have been quite different then. There was ideal conditions to cause plants to be much more abundant than now.

In any case, you are overlooking the fact that then, as now, God was in charge and controlled all living things.

Just...how did Noah pull that one off? Two of every creature? Every beetle? Every poisonous, carnivorous, vicious animal? I don't buy it.

I'm pretty definite that this has been asked and answered, so if it has I would appreciate a link to the post.

Evolution from a bunch of dust swirling around in space to man sending man into outerspace in such a time period, and in every other creature, plant evolving as well during that tiny window of opportunity. In addition, the planet being position so perfectly from the Sun for life to exist, and everything to work with order.

Sorry, but I will take Noah any day of the week before the Fairy Tale that Science is trying to sell people on.

Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.

One of my main questions is how did Noah keep animals from the arctic, and animals from the desert alive together on the same boat? Did he have refrigeration?
Before the flood there is evidence of a more temperate climate across the globe. Scientist have found a fruit tree in the antartic under heaps of ice preserved and they have found remains of animals like mammoths with tropical plants in their stomachs.

After the flood temperatures changed to the way we see it today,

Finding the ark will be a momentous occassion. But even then, many of your questions would not be answered.

Science still cannot determine that a human embryo is anything but globula so it is alright to throw it in a bucket. This is the Science that breeds evolutionists.

Gen. 7:21-23 does however allow God to keep any animals alive that He wanted. They just could not be on the earth and live during the flood. Such as kangaroos and other species that could not come to the Ark and yet exist today.

God's kind of a smart guy and we will never figure everything out. There is plenty of mystery involved in the story of the Ark.

Cheers,
Cosmic
