So you disagree with the OP, and you want me to sort it out?
No I don't. I simply want an answer to my question:
If god magicked -- miracled-- the genetic diversity in the rest of the animal world, can you explain me why he left the cheetahs out?
Simply forgotten? Tired? Does god hate cheetahs? Any other option?

I'm sure He didn't leave the cheetahs out.

What the cheetahs did after He created them is their business.

Romans 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

For a reason which is entirely sufficient to God. If you're going to accept christian theology for the sake of argument, you need to understand that the God they are proposing is all-knowing and all-powerful and works in many mysterious ways. It doesn't matter how stupid it may seem to us, "God works in mysterious ways" or "For a reason which is entirely sufficient to God" is always a good enough (albeit intellectually unfulfilling) answer.

The only sensible conclusion is that the story of Noah is not true.
Maybe it's metaphorical or maybe it's just myth.
Noah saved an eco system not the whole bio sphere. The bible is short on vocabulary. They did not have all the descript words to use compared to us today.

You should be more careful in your claims as related to the bible is the point.
Please, you were incredibly wrong. Even 14 is an extreme bottleneck that would more than likely have killed off the line. You were clearly in error since only 2 would mean sure extinction.

God had a plan, and the plan worked.

Yes, they are. The "clean animals" are pretty much limited to hoofed ungulates ruminants. They are a small part of even just the ungulates, much less of all mammals as a class:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ungulate

We could argue about 'much' all day long. The bottom line is that folks should be aware that all animals on the ark were not sets of two. Lots of Christians even make that mistake.

Yes, but the groups that were not twos was a relatively small one. And we also know that there was no worldwide flood. There would have been massive evidence of over five miles of water entering and leaving the Earth.

No, you believe there was no worldwide flood. You're still holding to faith-based views.

Wrong again. A belief in the Flood can only be based upon faith based views. There is no scientific evidence that supports it

In fact you can't even explain this:

What's to explain? Erosion is a mighty powerful force.

Err... How would a singular flood erode such a winding channel?

And your answer for why cheetahs have such bizarrely low genetic diversity... Is it really just "God did it"?

I dunno.

God does lots of creation stuff, I'm sure He'd have no problem with cheetahs.

That is not an explanation.

As I said, no Flood advocate can explain that structure. And that is only one of the many many pieces of evidence that tell us a worldwide flood never happened.

Why would that prove that a worldwide flood never happened?
