Thank you Digit and Heron for your added words of wisdom.

Slightly off the topic... but... I was informed by a previous thread to have the KJV or NKJV as a good version of the Bible to have. Though there have been a couple of people who claim that the KJV (The Bible of which i use as reference) isn't historically correct or interpretations vary. I can't remember which thread in which they were posted but should i consider another version as a reference point?

Well that's an interesting point really. I've found issues in both versions, I think the best bet is to grab one that is easy to read, for me that was the NIV, and then if problems arise cross-reference. A good site is BibleGateway, I know you can't take that with you... but it can bring up verses from all the versions available.
