So this returns to the starting point posted by me, for atheists to explain to me why don't they believe in Jesus Christ as a God.
Because as a god, he under performed.

Unless you think converting a few people, walking around an outpost in the Roman Empire and dying on the cross. Was an achievement that only a god could achieve.

Because there is no evidence that Jesus even claimed to be God, and if he had there is no evidence that he would have been telling the truth.

The only thing we know about Jesus is what other people claimed; or even accused him of saying. And it all depends upon who you choose to believe. If you choose to believe those who wrote the books called the Gospels, yeah according to those men he may have claimed to be God, but if you choose to believe those who wrote the books known as the Gnostic Gospels or even the Holy Koran; according to them Jesus never even made such claims!

If Jesus were God you would think he would have done a better job of getting his message across.

No because only Christ requires that. Thing you would have known if you would have studied, and you would have known too that no ohter "god" can be compared to Christ.

I have studied, thank you very much, and you are very much in error about that. Prayer exists in many different religions, and is one of the common ways that devotees establish a relationship with their gods.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prayer

But apparently you didn't even bother to try that to see what you might learn from that.

As for purification, that too exists in different forms in different religions:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ritual_purification

But I'm guessing that you didn't try that either.

John 9

As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been born blind. 2 His followers asked him, “Teacher, whose sin caused this man to be born blind—his own sin or his parents’ sin?”

3 Jesus answered, “It is not this man’s sin or his parents’ sin that made him blind. This man was born blind so that God’s power could be shown in him. 4 While it is daytime, we must continue doing the work of the One who sent me. The night is coming. And no one can work at night. 5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

6 After Jesus said this, he spit on the ground and made some mud with it. He put the mud on the man’s eyes. 7 Then he told the man, “Go and wash in the Pool of Siloam.” (Siloam means Sent.) So the man went to the pool. He washed and came back. And he was able to see.

8 Some people had seen this man begging before. They and the man’s neighbors said, “Look! Is this the same man who always sits and begs?”

9 Some said, “Yes! He is the one.” But others said, “No, he’s not the same man. He only looks like him.”

So the man himself said, “I am the man.”

10 They asked, “What happened? How did you get your sight?”

11 He answered, “The man named Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. Then he told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed and came back seeing.”

I don't buy into christianity for the same reason you don't buy into all the other religions.

Certainly I have to admit that your ignorance is the veil that cover your eyes. You think you know it all and are so obsessed with you holding the truth that you don't even want to hear other people talk about ideas different than yours. And this is so ironic because this same phrase I used against christians when I was an atheist I am using it now against atheists. I certainly tried to make up a conversation but all what you have are the same questions and no desire for them to be answered, and when I try, you ridiculize me.

My advice is as it follows: empty yourselves, stop being so proud and admit your ignorance and only that way the truth will become visible, and the truth is no idea, the truth, is a Person. Only when you will emtpy yourselves from the horrendous sin of pride you will see that there is something above and that your tiny limited thoughts were.

You don't know what religion is, what Jesus Christ is, what God is and neither what you are, you only follow void interpretations made by blind people, you only follow corrupted ideas and you deny the truth. Live your life a little, experience, and learn.

If they don't believe it doesn't mean it's not real,
And your belief in your god does not make it real.
since when reality is conditioned by human desires?
It isn't, but I think that if there's something you really want to believe, that is what you should consider most critically.

You give me the impression that you think the opposite.

This example makes me wonder about two things:

Why is it necessary for a god to spit in some dirt and make a 'mud poultice'? Surely he could have just snapped his fingers and cured the man. Why the belaboured theatrics?

And secondly, why such a limited performance of his healing 'powers'? From what I remember of the bible stories, Jesus cures the blindness, lameness and leprosy of what, maybe 10 or 20 people? Why not cure all the people who were ailing? What did those few do to warrant the preferential treatment? Did his magic run out after 20 patients? Had those few slipped him a few shekels beforehand?

You do a good amount of the leg work. But we're looking for answers and often times we do not get acceptable answers. The types of answers you give would not be acceptable in any other context and it isn't acceptable to us in this context.

Lemme get this straight. You want us to disregard all possibility of other religion and spiritual paths being correct to your own singular view, and focus our minds on a single "person" who, if we convince ourselves so, will be revealed as "truth".
This world view you absolutely consider true and proudly will shout from the rooftops that everyone else is wrong and living in "sin." All while you ignore the parallels that this view has with the hundreds that preceded it.

You didn't describe atheists. You described yourself. Word for word.

You don't know what religion is,

You know this how? Religion isn't hard to define.

what Jesus Christ is,

You mean "who"

what God is

Does anyone really?

and neither what you are,

I'm a human. Homo Sapien. Great Ape.

you only follow void interpretations made by blind people, you only follow corrupted ideas and you deny the truth. Live your life a little, experience, and learn.

The irony in this statement.

First of all, the "theatrics" were for the people's benefit, not because he had to do things that way. Her also healed people with a simple touch - once when someone touch the hem of his garments.

Second - we aren't told everything that happened, just given examples.

But if you don't /can't believe then you won't, no matter what any human says. The power to make you believe is far above my paygrade, but that's ok. As long as you don't condemn me for my belief, I shall not condemn you for you unbelief. As long as there is life there is a chance for change (either way) and none of us knows the future.
