Back to topic, the homosexual movement was brilliant in their strategy of claiming their sexual behavior was out of their control. Even many Christians believe in 'sexual orientation.' No doubt this sexual orientation will be used to excuse cheaters since polygamy may be their orientation. The truth is, we are each responsible for what we do with ourselves and that includes abusers of themselves in sexual perversions. God is greater than any sin. Homosexuals, dispite what they may claim, are no further from God's ability to make them new then the average lying, prideful fool. We are all sinners, but we can be set free through the blood of Christ.

Since it is a valid psychological profile, I'd be surprised if anyone didn't believe in sexual orientation. Indeed, it is undeniable that each person is attracted to either males, females, both, neither, or some combination thereof: this is their sexual orientation.

Being gay is not a sexual perversion. If you don't believe in having same-sex sex, then don't have it. Just don't throw stones at gay people for sport, please.

Well, it is coordinated, but not by God, the other guy. And it became a psychological profile when homosexual rights groups put pressure on psychiatric groups.
And what does "attracted to" mean? I find my mother attractive, am I guilty of incest? Homosexuals are people that have sexual relations with the same gender.

How do you define attraction? I know a handsome guy when I see him but that doesn't mean I will ever be physically or emotionally attracted to him.

I'm not the one redifining the word. You can look up the word in a dicitonary if you like. Homosexuality is a sexual orientation. It is what gender you are physically and emotionally attracted to. The gender of the person you most likely will spend your life with. The sex acts are neither here nor there.
And why are you against pologamy? You should be consistant and support sex between consenting adults even if they are (gasp) having sex with the opposite gender.

My response had nothing to do with me being for or against polygamy. If person whats to do it and everyone is consenting they can. But if I remember correctly you were saying that a person who cheats on his spouse could just claim that his sexual orientation was as a polygamist. I was disagreeing with claiming it was a sexual orientation. Not only because it isn't but because he was using it as an excuse for something he did wrong.

It was deemed an illness because of pressure from anti-gay groups. In any case, how does this affect it's status as a valid profile?

No, because you are not attracted to your mother. Considering someone as attractive is not the same as being attracted to them yourself.
I consider many females to be attractive, some even stunningly beautiful, but I am not attracted to them. Hence, I am not straight. The converse is true for males, from my point of view.

It is not who you consider to be attracted, but who you are attracted to.

Equivocation. As I explained above, 'attractive' and 'attracted to' are different things.

On the contrary, all standard definitions of 'gay' refer to homosexuality, which in turn is defined as the attraction to one's own sex.
Also note that there is a difference between 'gender' and 'sex'.
