though you may feel those things, you are not any of them. You are God's treasured possession, you could NEVER be worthless. God can make you whole though you are hurting. He delights in that. You are not any of those things that the devil is trying to make you believe. You are chosen, loved, valued and so much more.

There is one Person who cares, that is your Heavenly Father, He cares very much, let Him be your reason for getting out of bed each day, it is a gift, He wants you to enjoy it. You can never be "missing", He always knows where you are. Folks may let us down and hurt us, but His love is everlasting. Satan does not want us to feel it, he fights it every inch of the way, he is always on the prowl to hurt others and give them the feelings you are having.

Cling to Jesus, He cares, He really does.

That is the good thing with God, He is so much better than our depressed feelings tell us. Do bring all your pain to Him in prayer and drink from His love for you, it is so refreshing.

I find Gratitude to be the cure for self-pity. I have a 3 ring binder that has several lists in it and when I am feeling blue I make an extra effort to combat that spirit by pulling out these lists. One contains some affirmations (some are scripture others not). Another is a few inspirational quotes or slogans.

Remember the 3 P's.. Pause..Pray and Proceed. The Serenity Prayer is a good one. We must first have a clear mind & a peaceful spirit (which is what serenity brings) so that we are open and able to receive God's guidance.

God has a plan for your life and can use you just as you are. Do not put yourself down..when you are a child of His. It does not matter who are what type wreck you were...He has forgiven you (Sent His Son to die..for You) that means..You are of value.

Also remember that feelings..exist but they are not necessarily facts. In fact..feelings are usually fickle and can be changed. While you can not help what thoughts pop into your head you can and do get a vote on what you allow to reside and camp out there. Make a particular specific effort to cast down those negative thoughts (for that is the enemy coming against you). A good book that helps to explain this is "Battlefield of the Mind" by Joyce Meyer.

Start to understand your value and learn to see yourself as your Father..God sees you. He made you, created you special..now cast your care and dry your eyes..for you are Loved..by God and by all your Brothers and Sisters in Christ and something tells me there is going to be a special love here on earth for you soon..Too many prayers going around for you for something good not to be happening soon..just receive it. God Loves to Give. It gives Him pleasure.
