i am totally a beliver that Jesus IS God's son and that HE DID die on the cross for my sins and is alive now however I am so !!!!ing alone and miserably depressed, am I the only one that feels this way.I purposelly found this board to see what other Christians thought..........mind you, I am a believer in Christ but I am no example by far

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No, you are not going crazy and you are not alone. I became a Christian 11 years ago and my life hasn't been easy. I have and still do feel the way that you are feeling. All I can say is that this too will pass. The trials and the joys of being a christian... they both pass. So that you will truly know that you are not alone... please read my journal. I keep telling God that if only one person is comforted by what I've been through... then all glory will go to him.
It's hard to feel all that joy joy joy that christians keep singing about when all you want to do is yell or scream or cry...
The Holy Spirit is holding on to you... and I firmly think that it is by the grace of God that you found CF. I've been on CF since Valentine's Day weekend... God has used the fellowship that I've found here to start restoring my heart and soul. Browse the different forums... continue to be open and transparent... God WILL meet you where you are at.

I feel that way all the time. I used to think it was the whole teenager thing. But more recently, I've become convinced that I'm not really alone. God united us with all these brothers and sisters so that we may burden each other. He wants us to be there for one another, even if we do nothing more than listen. So welcome to the forum! Glad ya came in!

All of us can be better examples. You're never alone in God. We'll pray that the Lord brings God fearing people into your life as well as from this board, and that the Lord shows you the strength you have over depression. God doesn't want you to be depressed and definitely doesn't want you to feel miserable. We'll keep you in prayer, in the meantime, jump in with the fellowship and enjoy yourself. Find something that makes you happy? Concentrate on that. Concentrate on Him as He is your greatest source of comfort. God bless!
